Hair of the Insanity Clan #iPPP

My kids have awesome hair.

It made me want awesome hair. Which I don’t have because I always throw it in a ponytail because I hate styling it. So I got it cut. Drastically.

I’m not sure what I think. I love the length but the layers feel a little…Velma-y.So tell me what you think. Honestly. But be gentle.

Your kids do have awesome hair – and I like your hair cut. And it looks easy to maintain, which is one of my main criteria. I hope the small talk wasn't too bad :)

I love it, it's so cute!!

Cute is an acceptable way to describe a haircut right?

The boys do have awesome hair. I love how in the early days, they look like they have pre-styled hair when they wake up in the morning. Like, how?

I totally want to see a glasses-off pic now, too.

    I'm demanding like that.

My kids have awesome hair too. Like people stop on the street to touch it and talk about it. Me not so much. I never really mastered the whole what do you do with hair.

And if I am being honest (gently so – I just read your earlier post) your new haircut is very cute, but the fact of the matter is when you are out with your boys no one even notices because all they see is the crazy cuteness of your boys.

And even when the boys are not with you – you are labeled as that mother with the cutest little boys.

Regardless it all works, including the haircut!

You are lovely both ways, and while it's hard to say the monkey pajamas isn't the best picture. You're new hair is stunning.
But not better than Alex's. Sorry. ;)

I think it looks great…and hopefully easy to manage. I end up pulling my back too. And then I just lose track of how long it has been since I had a trim.

Wait? Velma like Scooby Doo? No! It's modern and fun, and I think it looks great on you. (I need to get out of the pony rut, too.)

(My kids have better hair than me, too.)

It is perfect! And looks great on you!!

I go up and down as well. I'm currently on my way back down which means . . . it's pulled back in a pony.

Love, love, love, love. In fact, if I was better at haircut maintenance, I would still have that cut.

    So cute!

I have to keep mine long so that the weight of if pulls it down. Short=afro type poofy hair for me.

It is super cute! And your kids hair is pretty awesome. I love the one of your baby. My kids never have that much hair until they are three. In fact, I think your babe has more hair than my 2 year old.

I love it. A ton. I really covet short styles but I don't feel like they suit me, and sometimes let's be honest I'd rather do the ponytail. Looks great on you.

Yowza! Plus, if you need to pull it back you can wear those cute headbands!

I think it looks adorable! I love short hairstyles and keep going back and forth with mine. You need to play around with it for a while. Whenever I get a new haircut I am never happy with it. Once I play around with it for a while it grows on me. You are probably just shocked now. I agree with Liz though! I want a glasses off picture too.

You went with a “Cool Mom” hairstyle and you pulled it off!! You look smart, pretty and hip all at the same time. I am still stuck in my long hair ponytail hairstyle because I am so afraid of what my curls will do if I go shorter.

You look gorgeous. I need a new 'do, but am scared. You chopped a lot off, huh? Is it easy to fix?

Going to miss you sooo much at Blissdom. I won't share my banana with anyone else.

I really really really hope it's easy to style/maintain because that was my biggest hurdle (still is) after I cut off my hair.

I miss the simplicity of a ponytail. A lot. I can just barely scrape mine up now (with the help of Bobbi pins/head band).

Everyone said short hair would be easier, but I've found it to be more work. HOWEVER. I do like the “stylishnisiousness” of shorter hair.

More work or not, your cut is super-awesome. (But again, more than anything, I wish EASINESS for you.)

Finally, to be honest, I was more focused on whether or not I could see nipple.

    DANG.

I was going to try and say something witty but I can't find it. I LOVE the haircut, like jealous I don't have the balls to do it and want to be you because it looks so good, jealous. And you know how I feel about your kids hair, obviously.

    Hellooooo – nice jammies!
I love the hair, and I bet it's wicked easy. All wash and go, right? Jealous.

Those kid's hairs? I kind of want to pet them.

I have always fancied short sassy styles and it looks great on you. Though I found I always more make-up when my hair was short so someone wouldn't slap a rainbow sticker on the back of my car.

It's adorable. You'll get used to it, and yes the permanent pony tail is a super reason to change up your style. That's why I chopped mine off!

I love the new haircut . . . but, well, I've been told that a bald man's opinions on hair aren't to be trusted.

    Still, I love it.

My daughter has this ultra-fine blonde hair . . . lately, I've been trying to put it in french-braided pigtails . . . with my own issues aside, she loves ripping out my work. And this super fine blonde hair ends up nearly being an afro. It's truly quite impressive.

Its really cute, KLZ. I'd go as far as saying it looks quite sophisticated. And the timing is perfect! (Think post partum shed!)

Also, I'm with Julie: wishing you EASE!

Also, oh mah baby, LOVE me some insanity hair. Those boys: TOO MUCH!
Can I have em? Just for a few snuggles. I'll give them back when they're hungry.
